Verbs to Describe Speaking

This is a game to improve vocabulary on verbs that describe speaking or talking. Vocabulary on English verbs are best studied under different topics. This game gives English language learners practice on speech related verbs, or verbs that describe what we say. ESL teachers can use this exercise to engage students in the classroom or assign it as homework practice outside of classroom hours. Monkey Isle Game – How to Play This is the Monkey Isle Game and involves a monkey digging for treasures on an island.  By answering the correct question, you help the monkey find treasures. Don’t make him dig up old shoes instead. This game takes the form of a multiple-choice quiz. The learner must listen to the instructions and choose the correct answer within a timed period of 15 or 20 seconds. The more correct answer the learner gets, the more stars they earn in the end. Learners should aim for three stars.
